At Spoony, community is our core. We are deeply committed to connecting with our users and followers, actively participating in conversations, and truly listening to your voices. Every week, we’ll feature a conversation with a fellow Spoony, sharing their unique story and experiences.
This week we're talking to Tien from Otario. Thanks for sharing your story!
Are you neurodivergent, chronically ill, and/or disabled?
Neurodivergent and disabled.
What barriers have you experienced in making friends and connecting with people?
I’m from a small town, so it’s really hard to make connections with people as a person with invisible disabilities. I rely on apps like Discord and TikTok to meet people and see that I’m not alone with my struggles.
What's been your favourite thing about Spoony?
I have loved using Spoony so far. As a beta tester, I knew there would be bugs but the bugs really haven’t been all that bad. I love seeing people posting about experiences and seeing people comment with support and relation to the posts. It’s such a wonderful community to witness and be apart of.
Each week we'll feature a Spoony from our amazing community. If you'd like to share your story, let us know here.
